Unia Sp. z o.o. is one of Poland’s largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery and one of the most recognizable brands in this industry in Central and Eastern Europe.
The goal of the project was to design, implement, and develop a web portal that would enable the configuration, quoting, sale, and servicing of agricultural machinery.
The solution proposed by EXSO contributed to tens of thousands of new agricultural machinery sales transactions totaling over one billion zlotys, which positively impacted the company’s growth and business success.
The project resulted in a system used by the company’s global network of employees and dealers worldwide.

1. Real-time customization
The product range presented in the system includes thousands of components that users can freely configure to create a customized product tailored to the end customer’s unique needs.
2. Automatic technical validation
The system allows machines to be configured so that each one is correctly defined in terms of design requirements.
3. Visual presentation of the product lineup
Each machine and all its components are presented in the system through photos and drawings.
4. Order Tracking
The system’s functionality allows you to track the order fulfillment process.
5. From Sales to Service—All in One Place
Dealers also have the option to register purchased machines and, if necessary, receive and monitor service requests.

When designing data structures, we had to take into account various “multi-context” information received from dealers— offers, orders, customer data, service requests, warranty records, and settlements—assuming that business data, such as the product catalog, is shared by all users.
This allows a dealer to access data from its subordinate branches and sub-branches, but it does not have access to data from other dealers. At the same time, employees at individual production facilities have access to the data assigned to them, depending on their permissions.

The processed data can be used in different contexts, depending on, among other things.
* assigned dealer (caregivers),
* sales market (domestic, export),
* type of sales (sale of machines, sale of parts),
* production plant (4 plants),
* price lists (PLN, EUR) or
* confidentiality rules.

A kind of "matrix" of permissions is created, allowing user access to be configured at the data level.
The proposed mechanism, based on ACL (access control list) rules, meets the above-mentioned needs and, moreover, also allows for specifying permissions to perform specific operations on data—including reading, writing, modifying, deleting, and propagating permissions.

We conduct intensive sessions with sales, operations and technology leaders to quickly build the foundation of the system. We analyze current processes and long-term business goals.
Based on the EXSO+ platform, we build a functional test system for validation on real data. It allows you to quickly collect feedback and train teams before full implementation.
We feed the system with data and configure its parameters under the specifics of the company's processes. We create dedicated modules corresponding to unique business processes.
We ensure uninterrupted system operation and systematically build new functionalities. We integrate them with the client's existing IT infrastructure.
To speed up project delivery, ensure the reliability of the implemented solutions, and reduce their development costs, we utilized off-the-shelf components from the EXSO+ platform and proven technologies.
